After an absence from doing photography on a regular basis I decided to do a-picture-a-day-for-a-year project. As a direction I am attempting to use modern images where possible to relate times in my photographic past. As I am no longer a spring chicken, I can get philosophical some times. As a Christian I often see God possibly using me and my photography to send short messages. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I have enjoyed making them around Monroe, NC. TheElmo

220:Cliche Building
Sometimes one is inclined to place his tripod legs in the exact spots used by millions of other photographers.
Note: it is not exactly level but making it level make it look more out of level. I am not sure why, but it may have something to do with the various element in the image. And the perspective of a Ultra Wide Angle Lens.

My feelings are that you don't really like this one. I like it. The building looks so much bigger than it actually is. At least I think it isn't that big. I really do like it. Great colors. Good job.
