More from the Art Walk
After an absence from doing photography on a regular basis I decided to do a-picture-a-day-for-a-year project. As a direction I am attempting to use modern images where possible to relate times in my photographic past. As I am no longer a spring chicken, I can get philosophical some times. As a Christian I often see God possibly using me and my photography to send short messages. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I have enjoyed making them around Monroe, NC. TheElmo

As I was "studying" this image, Nolan awoke. He sat beside me and I asked if he liked the pic and he said that I should comment on it. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw this last night, but didn't have time to say anything. I noticed this beautiful archway while at the walk Friday. I think I commented on it while your waiting on a shot. I wasn't sure what i would do with it if I'd had a camera. I'm sure I wouldn't have thought of this. You did good young man. DOF is perfect - just the right amount of "out-of-focus" on the background. Thirds are perfect. Lighting is great. That would make a great photo to enter next year. Thanks.
Great shots from the "Art Walk" Elmo
